Search teams have found the body of a man from Colorado who went missing while hiking in Glacier National Park in northwestern Montana. This information was confirmed by officials from the National Park Service.
The missing hiker, Adam Fuselier, aged 32 and from Castle Pines, Colorado, was last in contact with his family on the afternoon of August 29, as mentioned in an NPS news release.
It’s believed that he started his climb on Reynolds Mountain on Tuesday morning. On Wednesday, park rangers were informed that Fuselier had not returned as scheduled. His vehicle was located at Logan Pass, which is the highest point in the park accessible by car, at an elevation of 6,646 feet, according to the NPS.
Despite challenging weather conditions with fog, rain, and wind, ground search efforts began on Wednesday. After a few days, on Friday, Fuselier’s body was found on Reynolds Mountain. The search involved more than 50 searchers, a dog team, and two helicopters.
